Built by a player who lost his hit.
My hitting partner of ten years left for college. My suburb was still packed with players. I just had no way to reach them. That gap is the whole reason Kourtup exists.
Adam and I played basically every day for ten years, from the age of ten right through to twenty. All day, every day. Different courts, different towns, it never mattered. I could always rely on him and he could always rely on me. If one of us was keen, the other was in.
At the start of this year he left to chase his tennis dreams in college, and just like that my every-day hit was gone.
I've got other mates who play, but when they couldn't make it I had no idea where to look. No way to find new people, and when someone pulled out last minute I was completely stuck, even though I knew full well my area was packed with players.
So I started building the thing I wished I'd had the week Adam left: a way to say "I want a hit" and have the right players nearby actually see it.

You don't need a club. You are the game.
Kourtup turns any player into a local host. Light a beacon at your level, time and court, and the people nearby who are keen for a hit get it straight away. You pick who you play, chat opens in the app, and Kourtup suggests a court that splits the travel fairly.
No committee, no membership, no waiting for someone else to organise it. If you want to play, you light it up, and the game comes to you.
